twitter and facebook

I sometimes wonder about social networking sites like Facebook and twitter. If you don’t play a game or want to talk about politics or cartoons no one seems to take you seriously. I have been on now for months working got get some kind of interest generated or marketing strategy for my books, that I have spent years writing and hundreds of hours getting edited and countless dollars for covers and editors. I have used both these sites and I haven’t even had the courtesy of being answered in all the times I have asked for help or advice. But, if I wanted to talk about the rugby or sometime I ate for lunch, there would be a shit load of comments. For the few fans I do have that have commented on my book covers and reviews, I thank you. The rest, well … better leave it unsaid.
